Professor Drew Ratichek

Drew has had a passion for MMA since he first walked into a jiu jitsu club in 1998. His mixed martial arts career includes being the first USACA MMA Heavyweight Champion and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. After years of competing, his true calling for teaching, coaching and mentoring has changed many lives. Drew has trained and coached 100’s of MMA fighters from kids and amateurs to professional UFC fighters. Even with impressive credentials like that Drew is most known for his sense of humor and infinite wisdom.

Nico has trained jiu jitsu and MMA under Professor Drew since 2009. He has an extensive professional fight record and is one of the top ranked Lightweight fighters in Texas and the U.S. He has earned his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blackbelt, held the Fury Lightweight Champion Title and is a professional grappler. Coming into ACS as a youth himself he has a passion for teaching martial arts, character and discipline to the kids and adults in our program. Nico is one of the kindest men and scariest fighters you’ll ever meet.
